Week 17 OJT Final Preparations and System Refinement: Getting Ready for Defense

This week focused on final preparations, system refinements, and administrative responsibilities as we approached our project defense.

On March 16, I was assigned to deliver important documents to the Admin Records office. This task required careful handling to ensure that all documents were properly received and officially recorded. I made sure to confirm that everything was successfully submitted to the appropriate personnel.

On March 17, I worked on encoding and printing documents based on the clients’ requests. I strictly followed the required format to maintain accuracy and consistency. Attention to detail was essential during this task, and I ensured that the final printed outputs met the clients’ expectations and standards.

By March 18, I returned to system development, where I made minor modifications based on testing results provided by our QA, Israel. A small issue had been identified during testing, and after reviewing the feedback, I analyzed the problem and implemented the necessary fix. I verified the update to ensure the issue was resolved without causing new problems, and the system is now functioning as intended.

On March 19, my teammate and I worked closely to finalize the system in preparation for our

upcoming defense scheduled on March 30. We conducted a thorough review of all features and functionalities, ensuring everything was complete, accurate, and fully operational. We also applied final improvements to enhance both performance and presentation. Since the system will be presented after our tour in Cebu City, we made sure it is polished and ready ahead of time.

Finally, on March 20, I was tasked with encoding data into an Excel file provided to us. I carefully input all the required information and ensured its accuracy before proceeding to print the necessary documents.

Overall, this week was dedicated to completing final system adjustments, handling important documentation tasks, and preparing thoroughly for our upcoming defense.
