Team Byte Buddies

We are a team of four dedicated IT students, combining our unique expertise to deliver a robust system for our On-the-Job Training. Our collaborative strength comes from our specialized roles: I am Arcven Lee Manlegro, the Programmer, responsible for developing and refining the core system. Regien Mae Colot serves as our Project Manager, ensuring that tasks are well-organized and objectives are met efficiently. Micheal John Caga-ana is our System Designer, creating the structure and layout of the system. Art Jade Isreal is our Quality Assurance specialist, meticulously testing every component for accuracy and reliability. Together, we transform complex challenges into opportunities for innovation and growth.

I am currently a graduate of Saint Columban College, and my experience there has been genuinely positive. The school is known for its strong academic foundation and supportive learning environment. One of the things I appreciate most is the dedication of the teachers.
They are not only knowledgeable in their fields but also committed to helping students understand the lessons clearly. Their approachable and encouraging attitude makes learning more enjoyable and motivates us to do our best.
Overall, studying at Saint Columban College has been a valuable and enriching experience that continues to shape my growth both academically and personally.
Research Defense

We successfully completed and defended our research project, and we are proud to share that our client is very satisfied with the system we developed. The system is currently undergoing user testing on the client’s side, and so far, the feedback has been positive. Once the testing phase is finished, the system will be fully deployed for their official use.
The project we created is a Bookkeeping System designed specifically for bookkeepers. Its purpose is to simplify and streamline their daily tasks by providing an organized platform where they can easily record, update, and access their clients’ information. With this system, managing financial records becomes more efficient, minimizing errors and saving valuable time. We are excited to see the system in action and to know that our work will help improve the workflow and productivity of our client.
Research Festival

During our Research Festival, my teammates and I had the opportunity to present and explain our system to the audience. We discussed its purpose, features, and the problems it aims to solve.
As we shared our journey, we also took the chance to encourage other students especially those in the lower years, such as first-, second-, and third-year students to believe in their ability to create meaningful systems in the future.
Many students at Saint Columban College often feel scared or overwhelmed when they think about developing a system. Some tend to overthink, worrying that they might not pass their subjects or even fail to graduate. Because of this, we wanted to motivate them by showing that with dedication, teamwork, and proper guidance, they can achieve more than they expect.
We reminded them that every successful project starts with a single step and that challenges are part of the learning process. By sharing our experience, we hoped to inspire them to trust themselves and confidently take on the projects that await them in the coming years.
