Week 14 OJT Maintenance, Documentation, and System Enhancement

During the week of February 23–27, 2026, I was involved in several meaningful tasks that enhanced my technical skills, sense of responsibility, and teamwork.

On February 23, my teammate and I conducted a preventive maintenance computer check-up in the Quality Assurance section. We carefully followed the procedures provided by our supervisor and thoroughly inspected each computer for possible hardware or software issues. By systematically reviewing and applying the guidelines, we ensured that the systems were functioning efficiently and successfully completed the maintenance task.

On February 24, I was assigned to deliver important documents to the administrative office. Although simple, this responsibility required careful attention to detail to ensure that all paperwork was complete and submitted to the correct personnel. This task helped me appreciate the importance of proper document handling and timely submission in a professional setting.
On February 25, I worked on encoding the history of computer repairs into the system. This involved organizing and accurately entering detailed records of past technical issues and the repairs performed. With the guidance of our instructor, we ensured that all information was recorded correctly. This activity strengthened my data entry, organization, and documentation skills.
On February 26, I was tasked with troubleshooting a computer in the maintenance section that was constantly freezing. I carefully examined both hardware and software components to identify the root cause of the issue. After systematic troubleshooting, I successfully resolved the problem and restored the computer to proper working condition.

Finally, on February 27, we conducted our second system demonstration for our client. We presented the new features and improvements added to the IPCR Manage
ment System based on previous feedback. During the demonstration, we explained how these updates enhanced the system’s functionality and usability. Afterward, Ma’am provided additional suggestions for minor improvements, which will help us further refine the system and better meet their needs.
Overall, this week allowed me to develop my technical expertise, improve my documentation and troubleshooting skills, and gain valuable experience in client presentations and system enhancement.
