During the week of January 26 to January 30, 2026, I was involved in several technical and administrative tasks that contributed to both my practical skills development and my understanding of real-world workplace operations. Each day presented different responsibilities, ranging from document preparation to hands-on troubleshooting of hardware and networking issues.

On January 26, 2026, I was assigned to prepare and print Personal Data Sheet (PDS) documents using the office computer. A total of ten (10) PDS documents were successfully completed and printed according to the given instructions. This task required

accuracy and attention to detail, as the documents needed to be properly formatted and ready for official use.

On January 27, 2026, my teammates and I assisted in troubleshooting a networking issue affecting the server. Ma’am Ailyn instructed us to identify the possible source of the problem so that it could be addressed accordingly. After checking several potential causes, I suggested

that the issue might be related to a faulty RJ45 connector and recommended cutting it off and replacing it with a newly crimped one. However, the issue could not be resolved immediately due to the unavailability of a spare RJ45 connector at that time. Ma’am Ailyn informed us that her assistant would purchase the necessary materials, after which we would proceed with the repair. This experience helped reinforce the importance of proper tools and preparation when handling network-related issues.

On January 28, 2026, Caga-anan and I requested permission to repair a telephone cable after discovering that it had been damaged by a rat. Upon inspection, the damage was severe enough that the cable needed to be cut and replaced. I installed a new RJ45 connector and carefully crimped it to ensure a secure and functional connection. After completing the repair, the telephone connection was successfully restored. This task allowed me to apply my technical skills in cable repair and reinforced proper cable management and installation practices.

On January 29, 2026, we were instructed to ensure that all documents were properly organized according to their corresponding month and year. These documents contained records of gasoline expenses and other operational costs related to the truck and motorcycle. Proper classification and organization were emphasized as essential for accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting. This task highlighted the importance of record management and attention to detail in administrative work.

Finally, on January 30, 2026, my teammates and I requested assistance to troubleshoot and repair a computer that had been experiencing recurring issues, including overheating and frequent system freezing. I initially attempted to resolve the

problem; however, after a few minutes of operation, the computer stopped functioning properly. Further assessment revealed that the overheating issue had been ongoing since November, which caused severe damage to the CPU. Unfortunately, due to the extent of the damage, the computer could no longer be repaired. This experience emphasized the importance of timely maintenance and monitoring of hardware to prevent irreversible damage.

Overall, this week provided valuable hands-on experience in both technical and administrative tasks. It allowed me to enhance my problem-solving skills, apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations, and gain a deeper appreciation for proper maintenance, documentation, and teamwork in a professional environment.
